Ragi Idiyappam | Finger Millet Flour String Hoppers | Millet Recipes

We all know millets are healthy and rich in nutrients and one should use them in a meal  either in breakfast,lunch or dinner.My kids love string hoppers/ idiyappam  so i tried making it with ragi  flour for breakfast today.It can be had with simple red coconut chutney ,kurma,or any non-veg gravy else with sugar.I slightly adopted it from here.

How was your onam celebration we celebrated well.My daughter made a small flower decoration on our house entrance after we return from our Sunday mass.Although it was sunday and must non-veg in our houses i fully made vegetarian and relished it.To light up the heavy neal from yesterday i share an easy sting hopper recipe with wheat.

As i have said earlier now i have variety of side dish for Roti/Indian flat bread and this is one such.We all know green (whole moong ) dal is very rich in proteins and fibre and very healthy too.I just love to eat  the cooked one with  some sugar and grated coconut.But for change i tried this it was very tasty.
